The Keel-Haulers Canoe Club is excited to announce Scenario Weekend with Charles Duffy, to be held on his property in Oakland MD. There are rooms available in the house and camping will be allowed in the yard. Also, Friends of the Cheat, and Cheat Canyon Campgrounds are not too far away.
This class will include a mix of land-based and, if weather permits, lots of on-water scenarios that take participants from river rescue to First Aid and transport. Scenarios include head-down pins, entrapments, boat pins, challenging access, fractures, dislocations, traumatic brain injury, spinal injuries, diabetic coma, trip planning, proper First Aid and design, and other trip-leading issues.
